DONT HURRY DONT STOP

So, yesterday I did a thing... After months of staring at it I finally bought the Figure 8 DVDs. They should arrive in 2 weeks.

So... For the next two weeks gotta keep up with daily airwalk/rowing and start the videos to get the basic moves. The idea is doing the Figure 8 in the mornings with Kali so that's why I got the dvd's.
After completing that 8 week challenge, I'll look into the Bollywood ones that attract me so much. But first I need to get coordination and agility, which I think Figure 8 will help with.

2020 RESET... GO!!!

It is 2020. It's been 8 years since I was here... Much has changed...
  • I'm no longer in NJ. I am in Flori-duh.
  • My beloved daughter Deedee passed away in October 2012.
  • My best friend Steve passed away in February 2018.
  • I have been working with Disney for almost 7 years now.
  • I am in my 2nd year of my new Master's degree...
  • I'm studying Mental Health (Clinical) Counseling at Bellevue University.
  • Still diabetic!
  • Still married to my mage!
  • Kalisto just turned 10 years old!
  • Puerto rico keeps on shaling... Earthquakes galore.
  • We are in the middle of the Coronavirus COVID-19 world pandemic.
That was the short version of the important events.

STATE OF MY NATION
EXERCISE
It has been a month since I bought an air-walker and a rowing machine. I am trying to integrate exercise to my very sedentary seated way of living (studying and working means over 15 hrs a day of seating). Hopefully I will be able to see progress in here.

I am at:
AIRWALK 20 minutes normal walk
ROWING   5 sets of 20 at 4-tension
Have been watching The Adams Family, so I know each chapter is an airwalk session.

No changes in food.

But thanks to so much seating I increased 10 pounds...
That's why I started the exercise routine.
I was in beyond bad shape, now after a month I have a stable walk.

Hopefully this blog will log my successes and failures so I can adapt, and keep on motivation.

Days of... bed news

Last week: High cholesterol. Need to watch what I eat, exercise routine must begin, and lipitor was prescribed. Ugh.

This week: Eye doctor today. May have beginning of glaucoma on left eye, a nerve is swollen. Ugh. Must go back for test.

Bad diabetes, bad bad bad.

Lentus was upped to 28cc.
Yesterday 165
Today 180
So, so... I still think my magic number is 40. We'll see.

Stomach pain!

Night with bad cramps, day with bad cramps... around 9m they stopped thanks to ginger and pepto... Still, I don't know if it is because of the shots or not. I did not take the meds or shots today, as the pain was really bad. Will start Lantus again, as I am still very sore. The endo had said to stop if stomach ache appeared, and this med has that effect when affecting the pancreas, so no playing with it. Period.

I had no med stoday, so sugar is highwired... Will take my Lantus at 1am (in 15 minutes). Hopefully belly pain will be gone by tomorrow... 3 days is too much.
